This page features reconstructions of VLD animatics using the storyboards posted online by ebay seller Riderjetfire because of this I don't have acess to high giuality pictures or all the boards in a sequence however I've tried to do the best with what I've got. I find storyboards abit more intresting then key frames or inbetweens as they show early versions of the final show and I think it's just cool to compare them with the final animation.

In other storyboards from the pilot episode Lance comes across as meaner but I want you draw your own conclusions from the storyboards available if thats actually the case. VLD's development is very mysterious, a piece of early artwork of Lance was accidentally shared on Social Media back in 2016 the design used in these storyboards kinda resembles this early design of the character.

Due to the panning camera in the final version of this scene Keith, Shiro and Lances lower legs are cropped out.

I want to mention that unlike the other storyboards this one was sourced from a diffrent corner of the internet. Back in 2018 One of Netflix's many twitter accounts held a Voltron scavanger Hunt where the winners would receivea packet of production material. the reason why this scene's reconstruction is more ehhh it's cause I had to piece these together from what was essentually a Voltron money spread.
