My very cool VLD oc, The convuluted history of Corduroy's existence originally being a background character from S1 Ep1 whose design is a clear nod to SDF Macross's Roy Fokker that while some VLD fanfic decide to call this background character by the same name I thought it would be more fun to make them a pastiche instead as it gave me more freedom.
She's an asshole the worst, when Shiro was declaired dead after the Kerberos Mission failed she was estatic!!!! I find some fanfic authors will twist characters like Allura to fufil the role of a villian this is Corduroy's pupose instead of commiting character assasination I just use her. It's fun writting someone whose comically evil though in the "lore" she declined to work on the Atlas cause she's a very patriotic Earthnoid. An Experiment Inspired by a realisation that the other cadets that apear in S1 Ep1 kinda looked like the MFE pilots. I decided to reanimated a scene to include them also reanimated a later scene from the same Episode when Hunk and Lance are sneaking out to include Adam. My editing software isn't great some shot's mainly ones with a panning camera look pretty rough I got tired of masking those shots manually frame by frame so they look a little bit scuffed. In the video. in an attempt to not get copright claimed the quality has been heavily reduced, the compression hides some of my edtiting mistakes.
I'm not unhappy with the final result but I know I can do better maybe I'll actually learn how to use after effects and remake this gaslighting attempt.
Added the paper to the close up shot cause it's absent from the original. changed the proportions though they still look a little strange.
Voltron Action figures are too expensive, like seriously the Mattel figures as a complete set sell for $500 and thats a good deal.
In my desperation I made little paper cut outs >.<

I'm a big fan of Vehicle Voltron and I'm also a bit of a perfectionist so....
If you look up Vehicle Voltron in a search engine this picture will apear near the top.
I like the idea of a diagram breaking down the diffrent pilots and their ruggers but the original image is so pixilated I decided to trach down pictures of the Dairugger XV Vinyl that this artwork originates from and used photoshop to stick those diffrent pictures together and then cleaned it up.
Around the start of 2025 I bought and repainted a 5.5 inch Playmates Voltron action figure. Since then I've taken the little guy with me to many places.
An attempt at redrawing what this picture could look like unblurred. Shiro's face is a bit off but I think I did a decent job.
I wanted to try and copy the show's artstyle however my own preference for rounded curves as well as the thick line wieght aren't very on model.
Victory Voltron is an au fanfic started from the from the idea of a Legendary Defender esk reboot but for Vehicle Voltron.
It originated out of fact that Vehicle Voltron is unloved and such a reboot would never happen. Took over 70 episodes to even have a background cameo in VLD.
Like a civilisation with no contact to the rest of the world a simple fanfic ends up devolving into a collection of images, narrative themes and inside jokes that are incomprehesible to an outsider.

At my College their were these big paper sheets and it was encouraged for students to draw and write messages.
So I decided to draw the Black Lion since I had just finished building the Voltron moderoid kit a few weeks ago.
The next day I drew Keith and then a week passes.
Someone had drawn Voltron I had made contact with another Voltron fan at my College and I will never know who they are. T_T
